I began my media career in 2014 at BBC Scotland, working across their news, sport and documentary units, primarily as a TV Producer, working on political debates.
In 2017, I joined the Scottish Farmer as a News Reporter and went on to become their Political Affairs Editor, with the majority of my work covering the impact of Brexit on farming and rural communities in Scotland and the wider UK.
My knowledge, network and passion for the agricultural industry led to me becoming a columnist for the Herald Newspaper, where I share my opinions on food, farming and politics. I am also a monthly columnist for Scottish Field magazine and a regular commentator on farming and wider rural issues, across TV, radio and print.
