My Nuffield Farming Scholarship
I was awarded a Nuffield Farming Scholarship in November 2022 and hope to spend the next year travelling around the world, exploring my topic, 'Turning the tide on the anti-farming agenda'.

Farming has come under increasing scrutiny in recent years for its contribution to climate change and nature loss and I firmly believe there is a need for more informed and balanced conversations about the role agriculture has to play in delivering solutions to these challenges, whilst also addressing food security and supporting rural communities.

Through my Nuffield travels, my aim is to better understand how the farming narrative is changing and being shaped by different stakeholders around the world.  I am on a mission to bridge connections between agricultural stakeholders globally and to look at ways in which we can build more positive and unified farming dialogues.

Where I Hope To Visit
Over the next year, my Nuffield travels will take me across six continents: Europe; Asia; Africa; North America; South America and Australia.

Countries I will visit include; Canada, Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Argentina, Brazil, Netherlands, Italy and France.

If funding allows, I hope to return to Africa in summer 2024, with visits to Rwanda, Nigeria and Zambia.
