Claire is a passionate communicator, with a specialist knowledge in agriculture, food and rural affairs.
With over a decade of experience working in the media, she has had an exciting and varied career spanning TV, radio, print and public relations. Claire first gained success as a producer on BBC election programmes, before going on to be a reporter and columnist across national magazine and broadsheet titles.
She is a sought after speaker and conference host, and can regularly be heard commentating on rural issues on TV and the radio. Energy, passion and drive are at the heart of everything Claire does, whether that is investigating major news stories, hosting an industry conference or delivering media training. Her work is always centred on people and shining a light on often under represented issues and voices.
Her commitment to raising the profile of individuals and stories in rural Scotland led to her being awarded the inaugural 'Rising Rural Star' award, at the Helping It Happen Awards in October 2023.
